Madison Ann Wosik

Some people have a way of making the world feel lighter simply by being themselves.

Madison Wosik was one of those people.

Whether she was sharing a laugh, helping someone in need, or greeting others with the smile that rarely left her face, Madison had a gift for bringing joy wherever she went. She lived with kindness, creativity, and a quiet strength that inspired everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Born on August 3, 2012, Madison embraced life with enthusiasm and imagination. She loved spending time with her family, especially playing Uno, challenging loved ones to board games, or tackling the daily New York Times puzzles. She adored stuffed animals and built an impressive collection over the years, each one bringing its own bit of comfort and happiness.

Creativity was woven into everything Madison did. She loved drawing, making diamond art, crocheting, and crafting beautiful jewelry from beads, string, and wire. Whether creating something with her hands or dreaming up her next project, Madison found joy in making the world around her a little more colorful.

One of her greatest passions, however, was figure skating.

The ice was a place where Madison felt free, and she cherished every moment she spent gliding across it. Her determination, grace, and perseverance—qualities that made her a wonderful skater—would later define her in an even more profound way.

For two years, Madison faced cancer with extraordinary courage.

Through surgeries, treatments, appointments, and countless challenges, she never allowed her diagnosis to define her. Those who loved her remember that she remained remarkably positive throughout her journey, meeting each day with grace, resilience, and an unwavering spirit. She rarely complained, choosing instead to continue sharing the kindness, humor, and compassion that had always come so naturally to her.

She reminded everyone around her that courage isn’t always loud. Sometimes it looks like a smile on a difficult day. Sometimes it’s finding joy in simple moments. Sometimes it’s continuing to think of others, even while facing unimaginable challenges.

On May 6, 2026, Madison passed away at the age of 13, surrounded by the love of her family. She leaves behind her parents, Kenneth Jr. and Angela; her beloved sister, Kendall; her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends whose lives are richer because they knew her.

Although Madison’s time here was far too short, the impact she made will endure.

She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, creativity, resilience, and love—a reminder to cherish every moment, care for one another, and find light even in life’s darkest seasons.
