Encouraging children to participate in fundraising activities for our mission not only raises vital funds for DIPG research but also cultivates empathy, generosity, and community engagement. Kids often display remarkable creativity and enthusiasm when given the opportunity to contribute to meaningful causes, making fundraising a rewarding and educational experience!

Lemonade Stand

Setting up a lemonade stand is a timeless fundraising idea. Kids can make and sell lemonade in their neighborhood, at local parks, or during community events.

Bake Sale

Organizing a bake sale is a classic and effective way for kids to raise money. They can bake cookies, cupcakes, and other treats, then sell them at school, community events, or even door-to-door.

Craft Sale

Kids can use their artistic skills to create handmade crafts such as bracelets, keychains, or paintings, and sell them to raise funds for charity.

Challenge or Competition

Kids can challenge themselves to accomplish a goal, such as reading a certain number of books, doing chores, or practicing a skill, and collect donations from family and friends based on their achievements.

Book Drive

Kids can collect donations through a book drive. Solicit donations, set up a ‘pop-up store’, and encourage the community to make a donation for a book.

Fundraising Party

Kids can host themed parties such as movie nights, game nights, or costume parties, and charge an admission fee or ask for donations to attend. Another idea is to ask for donations in lieu of gifts for their birthday.

Service Project

Organizing service projects like car or dog washes, yard work, or pet sitting for neighbors and family friends can be a hands-on way for kids to raise money for charity.

Instagram Bingo Board

Teens can post a bingo board on their Instagram stories (making sure to include a Venmo handle) and encourage friends to donate to their favorite cause.
