We hosted our 4th annual Champions for Change Gala at the Crisler Center in Ann Arbor on April 23, 2022. We would like to announce our event raised over $1.5 million to go towards more game-changing DIPG research!

Tammi and Jason Carr thank you for a successful first gala as the newly merged ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation and are so honored to welcome co-founders, Mark and Jenny Mosier, as well as our growing network of Family Partners, to this amazing Ann Arbor event.

In honor of our 2022 co-chairs, UM Head Baseball Coach Erik Bakich and his wife, Jiffy, and former Detroit Tiger and current UM Volunteer Assistant Baseball Coach Brandon Inge and his wife, Shani (Chad Carr’s forever Godmother), this year’s event had a baseball theme and celebrated America’s pastime with flair! The Champions for Change Gala is known for its amazing online auction that anyone can participate in from anywhere! Our 2022 auction had over 300+ items to bid on, and we start to gather items months in advance!
