The Ann Arbor Turkey Trot is a morning full of fun before your big Thanksgiving Day feast! You will see crazy outfits and costumes, and people of all ages running. There are fun age group awards, photos with “Turkey Tom” and Santa, and even hot cocoa and cookies at the finish line! This is a great way to kick off the holiday season while raising funds for ChadTough. We are so grateful for the continued partnership with our friends at the Ann Arbor Turkey Trot! Join us this upcoming year!
Lilian’s dance family at Prestige Dance Institute is selling “Live Like Lilian, Love Like Every” bracelets for $5 with all proceeds coming to CTDD.
This year’s fall ladies’ event will have a new twist! Join us for cocktails and appetizers while getting a head start on your holiday shopping at pop-up versions of some of our favorite boutiques! A sit-down lunch program will follow, along with a final chance to “sip and shop” afterward.
Special guest is Gail Disner is The Southern Gail, an NFL wife and lover of all things home design, who uses her website (thesoutherngail.com) and social media presence to inspire others, teach DIY skills, and provide a resource for all things home design and décor.

ChadTough’s Family Partner, the Klein family is organizing a softball tournament and home run derby to honor their son Noah and raise funds for game-changing childhood brain cancer research through the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation.
Tess Richards’ art teacher also owns a business that sells nail polish. She created 2 colors in Tess’s honor that will be sold in the month of October. All proceeds will go to the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation.
Join us for a kid-friendly Golf Challenge playing nine holes on a par three course. No previous golfing experience is necessary! Teams will compete in unique challenges, puzzles, and games at each hole. Teams will consist of two players (one adult and one child), with two teams per hole. All green fees, cart rentals and clubs (if needed) are included in the registration fees. You only need to bring a big smile, and a desire to affect others positively.
All proceeds benefit The Malin Reed Opitz Memorial Fund to support various non-profits that were near and dear to Malin’s heart. The largest allocation will be to the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation to fund research to find a cure for this devastating disease that Malin bravely battled for 8 months.
Ryan McGuire’s 2024 GFC Golf Marathon proceeds in memory of his friend, Danny Nickerson, who died of DIPG when the boys were in kindergarten. In 2015, at age 6, Ryan fist played 100 holes of golf in one day in honor of his friend Danny and has done so every year since. The ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation is this year’s beneficiary.

Lila Mosier, Michael Mosier’s sister, organized a Bake Sale and all proceeds were donated to the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation.
Tiff’s Treats, the original warm cookie delivery service, is helping customers support the fight against childhood brain cancer with the launch of the Connor Man Brookie in partnership with the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation. Through September 2024, all proceeds from the Connor Man Brookie will be donated to the foundation up to $25,000.

The 11th Annual RunTough for ChadTough Defeat DIPG is a family-friendly 5K and 1M Fun Run and the foundation’s longest running event, bringing together families, both locally and across the world, to raise money for childhood brain cancer research. In celebration of Chad Carr’s September 26th birthday, who passed away at the age of 5, participants can enjoy a fun-filled morning in Saline, MI, including a Family Fun Zone and Tot Race, free for kids 5 and under on Sunday, September 29th, 2024.
You can run or walk in Saline or VIRTUALLY from anywhere.
In 2020, six-year-old Owen fought bravely against DIPG, an aggressive and incurable brain tumor after a nearly six-month battle. Join us in honoring his strength and infectious giggle in hopes of creating a brighter outcome for other kiddos who face this terrible disease and participate in the 5th Annual RunTough for Team Owen.
This run is virtual, so you can run wherever and whenever you like. More info will be sent about the logistics of the virtual run after registration. Are you local to Chicago? Join the fun at a block party in Oak Park, IL on September 28, 2024, hosted by the Petrzelka/Shaker family. This family-friendly 5K and 1M Fun Run will bring together families, both locally and around the country, to raise money for childhood brain cancer research. In celebration of Colt DelVerne, who passed away at the age of 10, participants who wish to join the DelVerne family can gather for a fun-filled morning at Centennial Terrace in Sylvania, OH on September 7, 2024.
Jason Lerch will be attempting his first 100-mile ultra marathon this year on September 6th (Run Woodstock 100 Mile Ultra). This event and the preparation will challenge him mentally and physically, and completing the event will be extremely rewarding. To make this challenge more fulfilling, he has partnered with the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation to fundraise for its mission to rid the world of diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG). As he is training for the ultramarathon, he will be sharing training updates and information about DIPG. If you are interested, you can follow his journey and donate by clicking the button below.

Professional lacrosse player Lindsey McKone has chosen the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation to be her non-profit beneficiary 0n behalf of Athletes Unlimited. ChadTough received a grant equal to 100% of Lindsey’s win bonus and received additional amplification for our organization by Athletes Unlimited and Lindsey.
Professional softball player Josie Muffley has chosen the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation to be her non-profit beneficiary on behalf of Athletes Unlimited. ChadTough will receive a grant equal to 100% of Josie’s win bonus and receive additional amplification for our organization by Athletes Unlimited and Josie.
Please join us in our 3rd annual Kambria’s Krew Color Run to raise money for research that is desperately needed to help kids beat DIPG. DIPG is a brain tumor that has less than 1% survival. Parents are told to go home and make memories. We need to be the change because DIPG is the most complex of cancers and is severely underfunded. DIPG takes away things like walking, talking, and eventually breathing all while the child is fully aware what is happening to them.
Join us for the 5th Annual Lip Sync Battle on Saturday, August 24th in support of Hudson’s Hope! Pick a song and live your best rock star moment for a great cause! This year we are hoping for at least 10 performances. We will have a silent auction, drinks, snacks, and yard games, along with a beautiful sunset in the background. At 9:00pm we will gather inside to listen to a live band an our late night food delivery!
