Sean McCoy
Like many parents, we had never heard of DIPG until my son, Sean, who was approaching his 7th birthday was diagnosed in January 2013.
Sean went through the radiation treatment, and the doctors told us to take Sean home and make memories and wait for the tumor to return with a vengeance. Sean passed 10 months later. Let’s bring awareness to this evil disease and some day a cure will be found.
We miss you every second of every day, Sean, and love you more now than ever. We will continue the fight against DIPG and never give up.
