When you purchase your corn maze admissions ($5 for adults, $2.50 for children), you get to select which charity will receive the money from your corn maze admission! Part of the 2023 season admissions was donated to the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation in honor of the life of Kyle Stine.
St. Mary’s School held a Fall Festival and a student Tag Day at the school, in honor of Finn Cusick.
Zoe Vermaas, the 10-year-old daughter of Mosier friends Rita & Rob Vermaas, organized a bake sale in memory of Michael Mosier.

Everyone’s favorite grandmother, Barbara “Babs” Costello, will be teaming up with ChadTough Defeat DIPG to host the inaugural ChadTough’s Brunch with Babs.
Babs has become a social media sensation with over 2 million Instagram followers and over 3 million on TikTok by posting recipes, household tips, and seasonal ideas. Babs will bring her expertise to this “kick off to the holidays” brunch, where she will create a fall tablescape, talk recipes, and even share a signature cocktail with you. All proceeds will benefit ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation!
Babs is supporting ChadTough Defeat DIPG through this event in honor of our Family Partner, Team Owen. Owen Petrzelka, who lost his battle to DIPG in 2021 at the age of six, was the grandson of Babs’ dear friends, Anthony and Lucy Shaker.
Have dinner at Chipotle during their Give Back Night in memory of Noah Klein. Some of the proceeds go to the Chadtough Defeat DIPG Foundation.
ChadTough’s Family Partner, the Klein family, held a softball tournament and home run derby to honor their son Noah and raised funds for game-changing childhood brain cancer research.
Jim Riehl’s Friendly Chrysler Jeep company organized a jeans day and raised $270 for the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation.

Order a special ChadWink sandwich at Zingerman’s Deli and they will donate $4 for each sandwhich sold during the month of September. This opportunity was made possible by the generosity of the Zatkoff family.
Tiff’s Treats, the original warm cookie delivery service, is helping customers support the fight against childhood brain cancer with the launch of the Connor Man Brookie in partnership with the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation. Through September 2023, all proceeds from the Connor Man Brookie will be donated to the foundation up to $25,000.
Thank you to our wonderful customers for the support you showed during the Taco Bob Birthday Foundation fundraising week. It was a great success. The Taco Bob Foundation also rounded up to provide a check for $1,000 each to Chadtough defeat DIPG and Neighbors United.
This 4th Annual RunTough for Team Owen is virtual, so you can run wherever and whenever you like, in honor of Owen Petrzelka, who passed away at the age of 6. Local to Chicago? Join the fun at a block party in Oak Park, IL on September 23, hosted by the Petrzelka/Shaker family.
This year is the 5th Annual Toy Drive in memory of Baylor Nichols. The toy drive collection begins August 1st and ends September 23rd with the #BayItForward Fundraising Event at Marker 48 Brewing from 4-8pm. Baylor would have been in 4th grade this year.

As tradition goes, we will be having the fishbowl auction where local businesses have donated some amazing prizes!

In celebration of Colt DelVerne, who passed away at the age of 10, participants who wish to join the DelVerne family can gather for a fun-filled morning at Centennial Terrace in Sylvania, OH on September 16.
This family-friendly 5K and 1M Fun Run is the foundation’s longest running event, bringing together families, both locally and across the world, to raise money for childhood brain cancer research. In celebration of Chad Carr’s September 26th birthday, who passed away at the age of 5, participants can enjoy a fun-filled morning in Saline, MI, including a Family Fun Zone and Tot Race, free for kids 5 and under.
Come join us in memory of Payton Dennis on Sunday September 10th for the 7th annual DIPG Golf Outing at the Centennial Gold Course in Bellaire, MI.
On Saturday, September 9th, a special fundraiser “Eli the Brave’s Birthday Benefit” was held in the auditorium at Palm Beach Central High School. The day featured a magic show by Peter Boie, a childhood friend of Eli’s father, who gave a fantastic performance. Multiple audience members had the opportunity to participate in the show, both adults and children. When the show ended, raffle prizes were given to those who had the winning tickets.
Jamo’s Live is hosting their 2nd annual Tee off for cancer golf outing!
This year they decided to team up with Cal’s Angels and the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation in memory of Little Maggie DeVries that fought this terrible disease last year! Maggie’s family joined the event to share their story and give information on how everyone can help and bring awareness and funding to this disease!

Love for Maggie Day will be filled with love, joy, and sparkling memories as we celebrate the extraordinary life of a truly remarkable little girl – Maggie DeVries.
Half of the day’s proceeds will be devoted to supporting the Chad Tough Foundation – an organization dedicated to assisting children who, like Maggie, face DIPG and DMG – particularly aggressive and difficult-to-treat brain tumors, typically found in children. By participating, you’re not only honoring Maggie’s memory but also extending her legacy of kindness and compassion to kids who need it most.
So mark your calendar, and join us in celebrating the life of a little girl who sprinkled kindness like confetti, and aid in the fight against DIPG and DMG.
The Lip Sync Battle for DIPG is a charity event in Support of ChadTough Defeat DIPG in honor of Hudson Sands.
Kambria Grenfell lives on with Kambria’s Color Fest in Escanaba, since she loved to run and she would be excited about the event.
Clarkston High School and Lapeer High School organize the “Battle at the Big House” where high school football teams from surrounding areas come to the Michigan Stadium and play six games across two days.
Fairway Packing Steak Shop kindly organized an event on August 19th and invited Coach Lloyd Carr. All proceeds were donated to the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation.
The NW Ohio Optum team is hosting a Zumbathon event at Super Fitness to raise money for ChadTough in memory of Colt DelVerne.
